It seems that September has brought with it some great weather (at last) and really seems to have the fish revved up for some late season feeding! This week we had one part of six anglers alternating between Bleu and Rouge lakes. The results were quite spectacular...!
In total, they had 145 fish, of which roughly two thirds were Carp. Three Carp were caught in excess of 30lbs (two from Rouge, one from Bleu)and a staggering 40 fish over the 20lb mark! Of the Catfish, the largest specimen was caught from Rouge at 71lbs, backed up by fish in the 50lb and 40lb brackets along with a host of 'small' ones under 40lb.
