Changes at Exclusive Angling Holidays

As we begin to look ahead to the 2007 season it's time we told you exactly what we've got in store for you over the next 12 months. As of January 15th there will be a new face behind the running of Exclusive Angling Holidays - mine!

Those of you who've been visiting the website for the last couple of years will remember that this 'News' page used to be updated by a young man named Will James. Well, I'm back :-)

For our newer visitors, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm 23 years old, Carp fishing crazy, and fuelled by the desire to maintain the high quality of angling holidays we have been offering since 1993. In case you haven't guessed John, the company owner, is my father. Many of you reading this might be fond of the old bugger, well don't panic! He'll still be living down here and working with me on the business. By working as a 2 man operation, this will afford him the time to focus on the part of the business he loves, which is you, the customers. Whilst I'll be working on the administrative side of things, arranging your bookings, baits and just about everything else, John will be out there on the bank whenever you need a bit of inside info, a photograph or a general chat.

We've got lots lined up for the coming year, so I'll give you a sneak preview. On the website front, we've recently switched over to a new hosting company. This will allow us to enhance the features on here to include a forum where you can get the latest updates from other anglers fishing our lakes, talk about tactics and generally have a good natter. Soon we'll also be able to accept credit card payments to take the strain out of paying for your holiday.

We haven't finalised the list of objectives for improvements down at the lakes yet, but on the list already is some hard graft on Bleu to make more of the lake accessible to anglers wishing to bivvy up. We're developing our stock ponds at the moment so that we can maintain the superb stamp of fish swimming in all our lakes. Regular visitors will be amazed at one of our little discoveries, but I'll keep that to myself for now ;-)

As you can see from the bookings page, Rouge is as busy as ever and Bleu is not far behind, so if you're debating over whether to make a booking or not please don't hesitate to give us a call.

That's all for now, but expect more within the next fortnight, as i arrive in France armed with a digital camera and no fear of using it. in the mean time, on behalf of John and I, thanks for visiting the site and we look forward to a great season with you all.

Tight Lines

Will James
