With all three lakes booked, glorious sunny weather and excellent fishing, it proved to be a busy week:

Rouge

Four anglers managed over 40 fish with carp to over 30 lbs and the biggest catfish coming out at 69lbs. It was quite a week for them with several personal bests in both carp and cats. A good time was had by all and thanks for leaving the lakes immaculate.

Vert

Four anglers had booked both Bleu and Vert and spent a day noddy bashing on Vert for silver fish but managed a lot more carp and cats than bream. I did the weigh-in with the best bream bag being just over 20lbs.

Bleu

Bleu was fished the rest of the time and managed an astonishing 137 carp and cats for a magnificent 2400+ lbs. The biggest carp was in the high twenties and the biggest cat was just over 60. A truly awesome week with lots of tales to tell of the ones that got away. Again, the lakes were left immaculate.

Opening Week

Rouge

Rouge made a flying start to the 2010 season, with a whopping 87lb catfish coming out on the first night. The action never really stopped for the four anglers, with a fantastic total of 112 fish caught, including seven 30lb-plus carp and four catfish over 60lbs. Total weight for the week was over 2400lbs.

Action was mostly from the double swim on Rouge, with things round the back a little quieter. The two fishermen in pegs five and six dropped down onto Bleu for a couple of days and found the fish in hungry mood, including some huge-looking common carp.

To quote one of the guests: "It was brilliant, best trip ever!"

Well done guys, and thanks for all the fantastic pictures.
